Charts and KPIs
Charts
The dashboard uses a variety of different charts to display data and communicate information quickly and clearly. Charts enable you to identify patterns and trends and to understand complex relationships which would otherwise be hidden within a large database or report.
The interactive nature of the charts allows users to drill down into the underlying data, helping to uncover the cause of trends and identify unusual behaviour. Alternatively a drill down could be configured to terminate in a hyperlink to your application. For example it could open the relevant customer account or supplier record. Charts can also be embedded within external applications such as websites, and the chart would continue to update in real-time.
Key Performance Indicators
The dashboard includes a stock market style tracker for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Traffic light indicators immediately draw your attention to anything that requires action.
Users can construct and monitor their own KPIs in real-time, as well as seeing the historical trend for each measurement. In addition, alerts can be set up and automatically triggered if a KPI threshold is crossed - positive or negative.

User hierarchy
You can also model your organisational structure within the dashboard and push targets down through the levels within your organisation via the KPI tree. Employees and departments would then be fully aware of their responsibilities and how they are performing against their objectives. KPI snapshot can be taken at pre-determined intervals to help with period monitoring.
