Neil has been working in the software industry for around a decade and loves his job. He came to Panintelligence from one of its customers having worked with and integrated the software, realising what a great product it was and what a great company it would be to work for.
After the Olympics in 2012 Neil decided to give running and triathlon a go having mainly participated in badminton and a bit of football up to that point. He joined the Sweatshop Running Community and started attending parkrun and quickly discovered he loved it. Since then, with the encouragement of great friends met along the way he’s swum open water, raced in triathlons, cycled long distance and run, run and run some more. His greatest achievements being:
- The completion of a 50 mile ultra marathon race around Ladybower reservoir in the peak district.
- The completion of over 100 parkruns including volunteering many times as well.
- Running anywhere in the world I am, including parkruns in Melbourne and Brisbane and runs in Florida, Marrakech, Silverstone Circuit and all over the UK.
When he’s not running, cycling or swimming Neil loves spending time with his family – his wife Angie and his 11 month old son Charlie bring him so much happiness. Charlie is now the proud owner of a running buggy which means he can join his Dad on his many adventures!
Before becoming a Dad, Neil had spare time. In it he loved to tinker and fix things, he’d have a go at any job providing he can find a little instruction on the internet. He’s fixed cars, phones, PCs and does all the DIY in the house. Most recently he was spotted up a scaffold tower trimming the top of his 15 foot high hedge; surprisingly he lived to tell the tale.
